Come and discover Marseille in the footsteps of Monte Cristo

Follow this path and you’ll walk in the footsteps of Edmond Dantès — but also discover the full richness of Marseille, suspended between myth and reality. Blending history, literature, and urban life, this tour brings to life the opening pages of Dumas’s novel while revealing the city as it has transformed through the centuries..

Designed for a small group of up to six people, this walk encourages conversation, questions, and a genuine moment of exchange.

Over the course of 1 hour 30 to 1 hour 45, around the Vieux-Port, the city becomes a novel’s backdrop: you’ll encounter the young sailor Edmond — the future Count of Monte Cristo — and sense how Marseille inspired one of the greatest adventure stories of the 19th century.
